WARRIORS IN SIX?

‘Warriors in six” seems to be the favorite song to sing three days before the NBA Finals lights go on! And so all the speculations begin. Will Curry and The Golden State Warriors continue their reign as defending Champions? Will the Toronto Raptors bring the fire of wanting their first Championship in franchise history and take the title away? I like to believe that this will be one of the best NBA Finals we will witness. New challenges will be brought to the Dubs in contrary to their last two trips to the Finals.

Kawhi Leonard has been playing one of the best basketball we’ve seen lately from him. Partnered with Pascal Siakam and their mid season pick up of Marc Gasol whose been bringing some great play inside.

The Golden State Warriors aren’t coming in full strength and yeah you’re probably like it doesn’t matter they have Klay, Greem and Curry, but it does. Durant has been out since Game 5 of the second round and though he will be traveling to Toronto he is do to miss Game 1 on Thursday.  The Warriors also will begin this series without Cousins since his ruptured quad.

Exceptional performances from Curry and Leonard are expected. What players like Lowry and Green do for the Raptors can be the deciding factors. If Green brings at least 12-15 points every night it can set Toronto in a good tone for this series. With Durant being out forcing Iguodala into the starting 5 makes for the bench to lose depth. Toronto has Fred VanVleet who has stepped up and caught some real fire from the three-point range. The Warriors have the fire of Draymond Green who has been putting up triple doubles and aggressively forcing turn overs in the defensive end. With all that Warriors have one been outscoring teams by five point per 100 possessions over 440 minutes in this years playoff which is not a huge margin. This series will be about who can make the most stops. What defense will step up. Both teams can shoot and both teams can play aggressive basketball but the team that plays the best defense will come out 2019 NBA CHAMPIONS.

Who do you have winning this years Finals?

For the record: P$- Raptors in 7
